22.03.04 Coal Oil Point
Me and a few friends took a trip to Coal Oil Point on the 4th
to take some pictures of Matthew for his school project. After a day of intense
winds, the sea had been whipped into a churning frothy mass of cold water. The
low tide provided opportunities to view the giant snails and other dwellers of
the intertidal zone. The wind forced air into my lungs, and it stole the heat
from my hands. Despite this, the wind seemed to be an isolating force,
reminding me of days in the White Mountains, or blustery desert nights. I am
happy to have experienced this night on the beach.
